When the alarm is armed the tilt sensor detects any change in the vehicle's angle to the ground. A significant change in the vehicle's angle activates the alarm.
The tilt sensor is a sensor for the alarm system. Various alarm sensors can be enabled or disabled for one ignition cycle only, via the Vehicle menu in the touchscreen. See SYSTEM SETTINGS.
