DYNAMIC LAUNCH [G2740310]

Dynamic launch adjusts various vehicle systems in order to maximise acceleration from a standing start on a high-grip surface.

WARNING:

The driver must maintain full control of the vehicle at all times. Failure to maintain full control of the vehicle could result in serious injury or death.

CAUTION:

Do not use dynamic launch during the running-in period. Using dynamic launch during the running-in period could result in damage being caused to the vehicle. See RUNNING-IN.

CAUTION:

Repeated use of dynamic launch causes increased wear in the vehicle.

CAUTION:

Do not use dynamic launch when towing. Using dynamic launch while towing could result in damage being caused to the vehicle.

CAUTION:

Do not use dynamic launch on steep gradients, and on non-uniform or loose surfaces. Using dynamic launch in these conditions could result in damage being caused to the vehicle.

NOTE:

The driver is responsible for remaining within the legal road speed limits.

Before engaging dynamic launch make sure that:

  1. The vehicle is stationary.
  2. The engine is running.
  3. The steering is in the straight ahead position.

    NOTE:

The accelerator pedal must travel past the initial resistance and held in the kick-down position.

  5. Release the brake pedal within 3 seconds.

To disengage dynamic launch:

  1. Release the accelerator pedal from the fully pressed position.
  2. Make a manual gear selection.
