ADAPTIVE OFF-ROAD CRUISE CONTROL DRIVER INTERVENTION [G3128007]

WARNING:

Make sure the relevant safety warnings have been read and understood before using adaptive off-road cruise control. See ADAPTIVE OFF-ROAD CRUISE CONTROL SAFETY.

Light, gentle use of the brake pedal lowers the vehicle’s set speed. When the brake pedal is released, adaptive off-road cruise control maintains the speed at which the vehicle was travelling when the pedal was released.

A hard press of the brake pedal, or bringing the vehicle to a standstill, cancels adaptive off-road cruise control operation.

The set speed can also be reduced by selecting the direction indicators on the approach to a bend. Once the bend has been navigated successfully, the set speed is resumed by cancelling the direction indicators. See LIGHTING CONTROL.
