ADAPTIVE OFF-ROAD CRUISE CONTROL LIMITATIONS [G3128008]

Adaptive off-road cruise control does not operate if the following systems are enabled:

1. Advanced tow assist.
2. Any parking feature.

Adaptive off-road cruise control may also not operate if a system fault is present.

Adaptive off-road cruise control operation is disabled if the vehicle’s speed rises above 80 km/h (50 mph). In this event, the automatic off-road cruise control information lamp extinguishes.

Adaptive off-road cruise control operation is suspended if:

1. The vehicle’s speed rises above 30 km/h (19 mph). In this event, the information lamp flashes. System operation resumes if the vehicle's speed drops below 30 km/h (19 mph).
2. The brake or accelerator pedals are used. System operation resumes when the pedals are no longer being used.

Adaptive off-road cruise control performance is affected if the vehicle’s brakes become overheated. Operation is suspended if brake temperatures continue to rise.

The instrument panel displays messages to inform the driver of any performance or system issues.
