Warning labels attached to the vehicle bearing this symbol mean: Read the relevant instructions before touching or adjusting components.

Labels showing this symbol indicate that the ignition system utilises very high voltages. Do not touch any ignition components while the ignition is switched on.

Extra information labels may also be found at these locations:

  1. The vehicle weights and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) label: Located at the base of the driver's side B pillar. The vehicle's build-date plate (Australian vehicles only) is also located here. The VIN can also be shown in the instrument panel via the Vehicle info and Vehicle VIN menus. See INSTRUMENT PANEL MENU OPERATION.
    NOTE:

    If you need to communicate with a retailer/authorised repairer, you may be asked to quote the VIN number.

  2. Tyre pressure label: Located at the base of the driver's side B pillar.
  3. Airbag warning label: Located midway up the B pillar.
  4. Airbag label: Located on the sun visors.
  5. VIN and vehicle specification: Printed on a label, which is visible through the bottom left side of the windscreen.
  6. Engine serial number:
    1. 3.0L engines: Etched into the left side rear of the engine casing.
    2. V8 engines: Etched into the lower right side front of the engine casing.
  7. Engine serial number label:
    1. 3.0L and V8 engines: Located on top of the charge air cooler.
  8. Air Conditioning (A/C) label: Located on the bonnet locking platform.
  9. Exhaust emissions label: Located on the underside of the bonnet.
  10. VIN number: Marked on a panel located alongside the suspension turret.
  11. Fuel specification label: Located on the inside face of the fuel filler flap.
  12. Battery warning symbols label: Located on the top face of the vehicle's main battery, underneath the floor panel.
  13. PHEV information and warning label (PHEV vehicles only): Located inside charge flap.

Labels showing this symbol indicate that the hybrid vehicle system utilises very high voltages. Do not touch any component that has this label or is coloured orange.

The high voltage warning labels are stamped on the following components of the Hybrid Electric Vehicles:

  1. High voltage inverter: The high voltage warning label is located on the top of the inverter.
  2. Automatic transmission and high voltage motor/generator.
  3. High Voltage Air Conditioning (HVAC) compressor.
  4. High voltage battery: The high voltage warning label is located on the top of the battery.
  5. High voltage coolant heater.
