AUTO HIGH BEAM ASSIST (AHBA) LIMITATIONS [G2887000]

Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA) is only active when the vehicle is traveling at speeds in excess of 25 mph (40 km/h). AHBA deactivates when the vehicle’s speed drops below 15 mph (24 km/h).

The following may affect operation of AHBA:

1. Highly reflective road signs.
2. Poorly lit road users.
3. Adverse weather conditions, e.g. rain or fog.
4. A dirty or obscured sensor.
5. A dirty, damaged, or misted windshield.
6. An icy or frosted windshield.
7. Oncoming vehicles partially obscured by a central barrier.
