AUTO HIGH BEAM ASSIST (AHBA) LIMITATIONS
Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA) is only active when the vehicle is traveling at speeds in excess of 25 mph (40 km/h). AHBA deactivates when the vehicle’s speed drops below 15 mph (24 km/h).
The following may affect operation of AHBA:
- Highly reflective road signs.
- Poorly lit road users.
- Adverse weather conditions, e.g. rain or fog.
- A dirty or obscured sensor.
- A dirty, damaged, or misted windshield.
- An icy or frosted windshield.
- Oncoming vehicles partially obscured by a central barrier.
