The touchscreen can be used to either preset activation times or to operate the system manually.

The choice of operation of cabin heating or venting is automatically determined by the system, depending on the external temperature.

NOTE:

The system ceases operation if the engine is started.

NOTE:

Vehicles fitted with a clean air pack run a purifying cleaning cycle with the climate preconditioning function. However, the main function of climate preconditioning is temperature control.

To access the VEHICLE DEPARTURES screen, select EV from the APPS page. See APPS SCREEN.

The vehicle departures screen consists of the following:

  1. Power: Touch to switch vehicle preconditioning on or off.
  2. Time.
  3. Date: Select to set a departure time event.
  4. Departure time event icon: An icon depicts that a departure event has been set for this day. Touch the icon to edit, or delete the event.
  5. Return key: Touch to return to the previous screen.
NOTE:

When the power is switched off, the settings are maintained and will be available again when the power is switched back on.

The departure time can be adjusted once an available departure time has been selected.

  1. Return key: Touch to return to the previous screen.
  2. Time selection: Select the hour or minute arrows to adjust the time up or down.
  3. Edit: To edit a departure event.
  4. Charging Tab.
  5. Save: Save the current departure event information.

To access the preconditioning departure event calendar screen, select the edit button.

Use the displayed menu to set a single or repeated departure event:

  1. Date: Selecting a single date will act as a once only event.
  2. Day: Selecting a day of the week will act as a repeated event.
  3. Set: Select to save the current settings.
  4. Exit: Exits the screen.
