Retailer Technical Support Requests through TOPIx (G3447662)

Technical Support allows a technician to make requests directly from TOPIx for:

  • Technical Assistance (TA)
  • Electronic Product Quality Report (EPQR)
  • FRED
  • Diagnostics
  • Special Tools

Progress updates are visible from the Technical Support intray in TOPIx, providing a history of interactions and status that can be referred to at any time.

Key Features:

  • Technical Support requests can be submitted within TOPIx
  • Existing Technical Support requests can be tracked and managed within the TOPIx Technical Support Intray
  • The correct level of repair required to achieve a ‘right first time’ repair, can be confirmed without having to navigate away from TOPIx
  • Full screen view of Technical Support within TOPIx
  • Enhanced text formatting, bullets and numbering in the comments and diagnosis fields

How to raise a Technical Support request or view the Intray from TOPIx:

  1. Select TOPIx Home Page to open the vehicle search page.
  2. Enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Model Selection from the vehicle search page.
  3. Select any of the options in OPTION SELECTION
  4. Select Technical Support tab to view the Technical Support Intray
  5. To raise a new Technical Support request select the required type:
  • TA
  • EPQR
  • FRED
  • Diagnostics
  • Special Tool
