You can make Technical Support requests directly from TOPIx for:

  • Technical Assistance (TA)
  • Electronic Product Quality Report (EPQR)
  • FRED
  • Diagnostics
  • Special Tools

Progress updates are visible from the Technical Support in-tray in TOPIx, providing a history of interactions and status that can be referred to at any time.

Key Features:
  • Technical Support requests can be submitted, tracked and managed within the TOPIx Technical Support in-tray
  • TOPIx provides a full screen view of Technical Support
  • Request can include text formatting, bullet points and numbering

How to raise a Technical Support request or view the in-tray from TOPIx

  1. Select TOPIx Home Page to open the vehicle search page.
  2. Enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Model Selection.
  3. Select any of the options in OPTION SELECTION.
  4. Select the Technical Support tab.
  5. To raise a new Technical Support request select from the following support options:
    • TA
    • EPQR
    • FRED
    • Diagnostics
    • Special Tool

How to Find Historical Technical Support Requests

To access the search function:

  1. Select TOPIx Home Page to open the vehicle search page.
  2. Enter a VIN or Model Selection.
  3. Select any of the options in OPTION SELECTION.
  4. Select the Technical Support tab.
  5. Select the Search tab.
  6. Select from the options Jaguar or Land Rover to be redirected to a Global Concern Management (GCM) Search page.
  7. From here you can search historical Technical Support requests by report number or VIN.
