TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics (G3447671)

NOTES:
  • TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics covers Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) vehicles from 17MY for Discovery, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, and 18MY onwards for all other vehicles excluding XJ

  • TOPIx Diagnostic Device Agent (DDA) must be installed for the diagnostics to run

  • (Standardised Navigation/6. Vehicle diagnostics).

TOPIx Cloud Diagnostics is always up-to-date, removing the need for constant software installations or updates.

Vehicle Communication

  • When the JLR approved diagnostic equipment is connected to a vehicle and the DDA is started it synchronises with TOPIx to display the vehicle data
  • The Vehicle Data window provides a summary of the vehicle’s module status;
    • Green no Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)
    • Amber DTC
    • Red no response from the module
  • DTC are displayed in the Fault Timeline with a timestamp and odometer value
  • Applications such as Network Integrity Test, Pre-Delivery Inspection and Service Message Reset are in Vehicle Applications
  • To see module specific application look in Module Applications
  • The History toolbox displays previous activities against the vehicle in session

Navigation

  1. Login to TOPIx through the DDA, and connect a vehicle through a Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI). A Network Integrity Test will automatically start.
  2. Select Diagnostics, if not connected to a vehicle diagnostic tests can still be run by entering a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the TOPIx home page, or Model Selection from the vehicle search page.
  3. Select Fault and Breakdown.
