A dedicated, high speed internet wireless connection is provided for the workshop, which is separate to the one used by the rest of the business. The minimum download speed for this connection is 2 mbps , per diagnostic machine in the workshop (e.g. if the workshop has 5 machines, a minimum 10 mbps is required).
Within the workshop, the diagnostic equipment is configured to the wireless network to allow the latest software version to be installed (See also Standard 10.5.1). Care is taken over the location of wireless access points to ensure there is coverage in all areas of the workshop.
