User Guide for Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Service (G4135864)

The TOPIx Workflow user guide gives you instructions on how to use the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Services workflow, and details key features and benefits.

JLR continuously looks for ways to improve process efficiencies and workflow giving everyone a better understanding of how work should be done. Workflow shows the process and procedures to be completed.

Benefits in the use of workflow include:

  • Improvement in productivity, time and quality of service
  • Increased customer satisfaction
  • Better customer service
  • Simplification of processes to make them easier to follow
  • Provide alerts for long running processes
  • Achieve efficiencies through process automation
  • Select the appropriate option to run the application or select a check sheet

You must complete the PDI and Service workflow within 14 days. If the workflow is not completed within 14 days, the workflow will timeout and expire.

The PDI application supports 17MY vehicles onwards (except XJ (X351). Although workflow supports any MY vehicles, a Service Reset will be necessary through alternative methods, for example, by manual reset or older JLR diagnostic tooling.
