Question 1

What subscriptions are available to purchase on TOPIx?

Answer

You can view the price for each subscription type from the TOPIx Links Page, select Subscription Prices.

We recommend downloading the software prior to purchasing a subscription so that a purchased session can be dedicated to the vehicle repair.

Security Related actions such access to Key and Security Module Programing requires secure diagnostics approval, either by being registered with a trust center, or manually accredited through JLR if not available for your region. If a Trust Center is not available you can apply for JLR Manual Accreditation using TOPIx Feedback accessed through Help Support and System Status.

What does a Documents - Service subscription purchase?

Answer

The standard TOPIx Documents - Service subscription provides access to the information listed below. The information available will vary according to user type (For example, retailer specific processes), and if the content is applicable to your vehicle.

Question 4

What does a Workflow, Documents and Independent Module Programing subscription purchase?

Answer

The Workflow, Documents and Independent Module Programing subscription includes documents and programing, as well as an additional feature Workflow.

Workflow can be used to perform a Fault and Breakdown diagnosis or vehicle service. Technicians are guided through all tasks, and shown the steps necessary to complete the workflow.

TOPIx Cloud pre-populates workflow to support the diagnostics with vehicle data. A Network Integrity Test (NIT) is completed and includes vehicle data such as DTC and module software versions.

How do I purchase Module Programing?

The Independent Module Programing subscription gives access to all modules that are not security related.. Security Related actions such access to Key and Security Module Programing requires secure diagnostics approval, either by being registered with a trust center, or manually accredited through JLR if not available for your region. If a Trust Center is not available you can apply for JLR Manual Accreditation using TOPIx Feedback accessed through Help Support and System Status.

Question 6

How do I purchase Security and Key Programing?

Answer

To access Security and Key Programing you must have one of the following:

  • North America - you must be approved with the North American Trust Center; NASTF Vehicle Security Professional Portal - North American Trust Center
  • Countries in the European Union (EU) - you must be approved with the European Trust Centre which is being rolled out to countries in the EU. SERMI - Organisation responsible for the European Trust Center
  • For EU countries where Trust Centre access is not yet available, a manual accreditation process is available.
    • (Standardised Navigation/1. User authentication, authorisation and administration).
    • Requests for Manual Accreditation applications or any questions can be submitted using TOPIx Feedback accessed through Help Support and System Status. Alternatively, e-mail enquiries to the TOPIx Feedback Team
    • You will be sent an application form and full instructions. On receipt of the application and processing fee accreditation checks will be completed. This is re-validated every 2 years. If you are found to be in breach of the terms and conditions your access will be removed.
NOTE:

The Independent Module Programing subscription includes security related applications for users with security accreditation.

Question 7

How do I request Online Service History (OSH) Access?

Answer

To access OSH you must be a registered user, signed into TOPIx, with the OSH selected in the Update User Options.

Question 8

I haven’t received my registration email. What must I do?

Answer

If you haven’t received your registration email after signing up for TOPIx, try the following steps:

  1. Look in your spam or junk folder: Sometimes, automated emails are mistakenly filtered by your email provider.
  2. Wait a few minutes Email: Delivery can occasionally be delayed. Allow up to 10 minutes for the email to arrive.
  3. Verify your email address: Confirm that the email address you provided during registration is correct. A small typo can prevent delivery.
  4. Still no email?: Contact our support team directly.

Question 9

How do I activate my TOPIx account?

Answer

After registering, you will receive an email from donotreply@jaguarlandrover.com with the subject ‘Welcome to TOPIx’.

To activate your account:

  1. Open the email: Look for a message from TOPIx with the subject line above.
  2. Select the confirmation link inside the email: Select the link 'Confirm your email address by clicking here.' This will verify your email and activate your account.
  3. Didn’t receive the email?
    • Look in your spam or junk folder.
    • Confirm that the email address you provided during registration is correct.
    • If you still can’t find the email, contact our support team directly.

Question 10

I have a login issue with Single Sign On and cannot log into TOPIx

Answer

If you are an internal user experiencing login issues, it is likely due to account expiration following internal security updates rolled out in Q2 2025.

To resolve this: Contact JLR Technical Support for a password reset link: ithelp1@jaguarlandrover.com

Note: The TOPIx Feedback Team cannot reset yourJLR password.

Question 11

Why can't I see feature codes in the Features tab for a specific Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)?

Answer

If you cannot see any feature or minor feature codes, it may be due to a lack of an active subscription on your account. Check if you have an active subscription. If not, adding one will restore access to the feature data. TOPIx Option page
