Below are a list of commonly asked questions on Quality Check.

Question 1

Who do I contact for help on Quality Check?

Answer

In the Help, Support and System Status area of TOPIx, select Feedback on Content. Whenever possible, include a full description with screen shots. Alternatively, use the link TOPIx Feedback Team to submit a feedback report.

Question 2

There is no target set on the Quality Check summary page.

Answer

A Retailer DSLID must be used to log into TOPIx to see targets. Only Retailers can see completed Quality Checks. Importer DSLID cannot see targets and cannot complete Quality Checks.

If you cannot see a target and think that one should be there then you can raise a feedback ticket.

In the Help, Support and System Status area of TOPIx, select Feedback on Content. Whenever possible, include a full description with screen shots. Alternatively, use the link TOPIx Feedback Team to submit a feedback report. Include current target, the necessary adjustment to your target, your DSL ID and Retailer code.

Question 3

The Quality Check target for my Retailer is wrong.

Answer

Question 4

Why is the Submit box gray?

Answer

Submit will be grayed out until the Agreement box has been selected.

Question 5

My completed Quality Checks number has dropped to zero, but I have submitted checks recently - where are they?

Answer

The target for Quality Checks is for the current month only. The number of completed Quality Checks will go to 0 automatically on the first of each month.

Question 6

How do I access the Quality Check Tool?

Answer

  1. Select TOPIx Home Page to open the vehicle search page
  2. Enter a Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Model Selection from the vehicle search page.
  3. From the OPTION SELECTION box select Browse All.
  4. Select the tab Quality Check.
  5. On the summary screen you can view your monthly Quality Check target, and the percentage of checks completed.
  6. If your logged in DSL ID does not match the brand of your VIN in session, a notification will appear at the top of the page For example, if logged in with a Land Rover DSL ID with a Jaguar vehicle in session, an orange information bar will flag an alert which recommends the correct DSL ID to use.
  7. On the summary screen you can select Create New Quality Check, view recently completed checks, or resume and submit a saved draft.

Question 7

I have forgotten my password to access TOPIx Quality Check

Answer

TOPIx uses DSL ID for login. To reset your DSL ID Password contact the JLR Support Team .

Question 8

How can I / who can access Quality Check?

Answer

All DSL users are able to view and/or access Quality Checks through TOPIx.

I would like to improve my Fixed Right First-time Repair, how can I change from basic to advanced questions?

Question 11

My user ID is incorrect, how do I report this?

Answer

Importers and retailers can ask for changes to DSL ID's to be made through the email - DSL@jaguarlandrover.com. DSL ID's can be added, amended, deleted or transferred from one retailer to another or from an importer to retailer.

Question 12

A team member is listed who does not / no longer works at my Retailer, how can I have this corrected?

Answer

Importers and Retailers can ask for changes to DSL ID's to be made through the email - DSL@jaguarlandrover.com. DSL ID's can be added, amended, deleted or transferred from one Retailer to another or from an importer to retailer.

Question 13

Can a retailer change between Jaguar and Land Rover brands?

Answer

The user must use the correct DSL ID for the brand that is being checked. For example, either a Jaguar user ID or a Land Rover User ID must be selected for the respective brand. This makes sure that the Quality Check is saved to the correct brand completion rate.

Question 14

Can National Sales Companies (NSC) access a Quality Check?

Answer

Only Retailers can see Quality Checks and the current monthly targets versus completion rates in TOPIx.

Question 15

Can a Quality Check be deleted?

Answer

Retailers cannot delete a Quality Check when it has been submitted. Draft Quality Checks are automatically deleted after 90 days.

Question 16

Only my DSLID is presented in the pull down lists, how do I update TOPIx to display my name?

Answer
